The Magical Market promotes a safe space for all people. Whether it be event attendees or the general public, we believe in a safe and inclusive space for all. Our events are open to all people regardless of ethnicity, body type, gender, orientation, religion, or ability.

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind at our events. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Physical or verbal harassment

- Sexual harassment

- Stalking

- Malicious misgendering

- Unwanted physical contact, advances or requests

If you experience harassment at any of our events, locate the nearest Magical Market volunteer. If you’re not comfortable talking about the situation in person, please message our Facebook page as it is monitored closely during events. If the aggressor is an attendee of a Magical Market event, they will be asked to leave and banned from any further participation at our events. If the aggressor is a member of the public, Magical Market will contact the authorities, with your permission, unless the aggressor is a threat to other attendees.

Magical Market has a zero tolerance policy for threats of any kind. If a threat is made by an attendee, the incident will be documented and the authorities will be contacted. The safety of our staff, volunteers, and attendees are our top priority.

We also encourage cosplay and costuming at our events. With that being said, it is important that all attendees understand that cosplay is not consent. Please do not make physical contact with, or take photos of, anyone without their permission. Avoid misunderstandings by always asking!
