cassie young
Cassie Young is a queer artist, a blueberry enthusiast, and an anxious Canadian. By day she is a digital animator for Netflix's hit show Hilda, which much like Cassie, is an equal mix of sweetness, monsters, and good-hearted mayhem. By night -- and in the very early mornings -- she draws flora and fauna, collects bones, and constructs zines. Her work explores the relationship between the viewer or artist as active explorer and the inherent knowledge, history, and emotion kept and propagated by plants, and animals, and landscapes of this earth.
